- 1 cup fresh ricotta cheese
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup mixed nuts (such as almonds and walnuts)
- 3 tbsp pure honey
- 1/4 tsp flaky sea salt
- Fresh herbs (optional, such as thyme or rosemary)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and tools: a mixing bowl, whisk or electric mixer, and a small saucepan.
- In the mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, olive oil, and sea salt. Whip until smooth and creamy.
- In the saucepan over medium heat, toast mixed nuts for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Pour honey over the toasted nuts and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until well-coated.
- Spoon whipped ricotta into a serving bowl and top with warm honeyed nuts just before serving.
- Garnish with additional honey drizzle or fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately with crusty bread or crackers.
