Description

Delicious apple-filled puff pastry pockets that are perfect for dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 cups Granny Smith apples (peeled, diced)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg (for wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square, fold over, and seal edges.
  5. Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
