Description
Enjoy these delicious garlic butter lobster tails, baked to perfection with a rich and creamy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise, exposing the meat. Gently pull the meat up to sit on top of the shell.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but do not brown the garlic.
- Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet. Spoon a generous amount of the garlic butter sauce over each tail.
- Bake the lobster tails in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with any remaining garlic butter sauce, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
- For added flavor, consider marinating the lobster tails in the garlic butter mixture for 30 minutes before baking.
