A delicious and easy overnight oats recipe topped with fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 to 3 teaspoons agave or maple syrup (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (sliced or chopped)
  • 1/3 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (use dairy-free yogurt for vegan)
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds or ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add 1/2 cup oats to a resealable jar. Stir in 1/2 cup milk and 1 to 3 teaspoons agave or maple syrup. Mix well so all oats are moistened.
  2. Layer 1/4 cup strawberries over the oats, then spoon in 1/3 cup yogurt. Top with remaining strawberries.
  3. Seal the jar and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. In the morning, stir. Add a splash of milk if you prefer a looser texture. Enjoy cold or warm in 20-second microwave bursts.
