Delicious baked crab wontons filled with lump crab meat and cream cheese, perfect as an appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup canned lump crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly spray a muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray and press each wonton wrapper into the cups.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the crab meat, softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, soy sauce, and garlic powder until smooth.
  4. Spoon the crab mixture generously into each wonton cup.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown; monitor closely to prevent burning.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving warm.

Notes

  • Make sure to fill the wonton cups generously for the best flavor.
