Description
Delicious honey garlic chicken thighs or breasts, marinated and cooked to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade (discard marinade) and season with salt and pepper. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
- In a small saucepan, combine any remaining marinade with cornstarch mixed with water. Bring to a simmer until thickened (2-3 minutes). Pour over chicken in the skillet and toss gently to coat.
- Serve garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate longer, up to 12 hours.
- Can be served with steamed rice or vegetables.
