Description

A delightful sushi treat with strawberries and whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 10 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 3 nori sheets
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until clear. Cook according to package instructions (about 20 minutes). Stir in sugar while warm.
  2. Slice strawberries evenly and set aside.
  3. Lay nori on a bamboo mat, spread an even layer of rice, leaving an inch at the top. Place strawberry slices in the center.
  4. Roll tightly using the bamboo mat, wetting the edge of nori to seal.
  5. Slice into bite-sized pieces with a damp knife. Drizzle with whipped cream and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
